About the fabric

Four-layer cotton gauze is made by layering four thin sheets of soft cotton gauze together. This gives the baric a light, airy feel while making it more absorbent than a single layer of cotton. Because it absorbs moisture well and dries quickly, it is especially useful in the kitchen. When your hands get damp while cooking or baking, you can lightly wipe them on the apron without having to reach for a separate hand towel every time.
